AHA BLS Provider CPR AED In-Person Class

AHA BLS Provider is the traditional instructor led class for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and pre-hospital settings

Healthcare providers who use this course for AHA certification include physicians, nurses, nursing students, dentists, dental students, physical and occupational therapists, EMTs, other allied health providers, and more.

Students will learn: how to recognize cardiac arrest, when to perform high quality CPR for adults, children and infants, appropriate use of an AED, effective ventilation, team member roles, and effective relief of airway obstructions.

There is an “open book” AHA exam at the end of class. It is recommended the AHA Provider Manual be used as your resource.

The updated 2020 AHA BLS Provider Manual (or eBook) is recommended. Manuals can be purchased at checkout or from the AHA at shopcpr.heart.org

Class Certification:  American Heart Association BLS Provider Course Completion Card is valid for two years.  Class Time 2 to 3 hours.  $75

You will receive your card at the end of the class.
